If you want to know what your intrepid critic is doing up at 5:00 am on a Friday, you’ll have to tune in KVBC 3 (NBC) this morning at 6:15 to watch us on Wake Up with the Wagners.
If you want to know what we do in preparation for talking with them about great sandwiches in our humble burg, take a look at the tasty snaps we reviewed before decided on the most mouth-watering, carnivorous constructions:
At #3, a tie between the pastrami and corned beef at Carnegie Deli:

…and the house-made corned beef and pastrami at P.U.B.:

Number two in our list of favorite sandwiches was the classic “Bobbie” from Capriotti’s Deli:
…and the number one sandwich featured this morning on Kim and Dana’s show (drum roll please)…….the “Lomito Completo” from Rincon de Buenos Aires:

I thought you said English was a limey cocksucker.
Have you changed your tune?
ELV,
Please try to remember to post upcoming tv segments notices in advance so we can watch you in the full glory of Hi-def.
And, I have never had a good Bobbie. The way they rip up the turkey like pulled pork has always been dry & stringy at my local Capriotti’s.
TRH
I gotta agree with TRH. The bobbie isn’t anything special, nor even desirable. It should be replaced by either the grilled pork or sausage and eggs banh mi from Pho Thanh Huong. Their bread is a thing of beauty.
That Lomito Completo is looking mighty tasty, just hope they don’t always overcook the egg like that.
My favorite at Capriotti’s – the Slaw B Jo.
The target of my next visit – the Cheese Steak.
