Bread & Butter, Chris Herrin’s new lunch and breakfast spot in Henderson, is now open and turning them away on weekends.

One sniff of the joint — with all of its house-made pastries, rolls, breads and cakes — will tell you why.

Those smells tell you Herrin, who previously plied his passion at Bouchon, has the proper pastry pedigree.

His creations appear to be conspicuously crave-worthy (although we’ve yet to consume them copiously).

One thing Carnevino Pastry Chef Doug Taylor told us we must try is a ham and cheese sandwich that comes on a waffle.

Credulous, crimped creativity indeed!

Sounds more like a craftily conceived caloric consumable that will cause his customers to clamor.

If this keeps up, ELV cannot continue to comment on this community’s crappy cuisine.

Candidly, a captious cause we no longer care to caricature.

I can’t wait to try it. My friends and I are always looking for something new that is close. Usually, Settebello, Crazy Pita or Rachel’s at The District or Crepe Expectations so I’m excited for this.

Had some tarts. The Nutella, an apple, and a crumble one. Wasn’t impressed. Very, very dry and chewy. I hope that was an anomaly. Will try again soon.

I ate here once and tried a bunch of stuff and loved it all. 3 pastries, the pb&j brioche, the chocolate brioche, and the blueberry muffin. All fantastic. We also had the ham and cheese on waffles and the eggplant grilled cheese sandwhich. It is my mission to try every pastry there. I hope this place does well because I adore it.

I took my kids there for breakfast this morning. I stand corrected and, boy, was I wrong. Our food was delicious and the place was packed. We will patronize BnB as often as we can. Redemption is good. Excellent.
