Eat This Now – Tomato Salad at MILOS

How can something so simple be so perfect? If ever the phrase “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” applies to a recipe, it applies to this elementary concoction of quartered tomatoes, sliced onions, green peppers, barrel-aged feta, Santorini capers, and fresh oregano, all tossed in a light, lemony vinaigrette.

ELV dreams of this salad. He’s ordered it for dozens of people in the past five months and watched each of them swoon. It is not fancy. It is not complicated. It is simply sublime.

It costs $27 at dinner (and is more than enough for three), and a slightly smaller version available at lunch as part of their $20.11, three course special.

Just thought you’d like to know.

PS: Scroll through the tasty snaps above to see ELV’s meal with his staff* last Friday night….including Anthony Robert Curtas — d.o.b. 10.25.75 – The Official Number One Son Of ELV!

* The entire meal for three, with a few glasses of comped wine, came to  $220 ($180+$40 tip). Because our staff paid, the fish tasted even sweeter.

Its pretty obvious you love this place and why wouldnt you with its simple and natural plate presentations. This place sure knows how to let the ingredients speak. Its nice to know one place in Vegas understands the meaning of doing food right.

Of course it comes with a price tag but what good food doesnt. Price tag really doesnt matter when your running with company that understands the meaning of dining out. Lunch sounds like a bargain though.

How are you, I would to tell you that I have found this post to be super helpful to me. I also have a simple request for you, would it be fine if I were to send a couple of my own interesting topics for other viewers to comment on. Please get back to me, regards Frank

It would appear that Anthony Robert Curtas and I were born on the very same day….
