Rosemary’s has been so good for so long (eleven years and counting) that we take it for granted sometimes. But a meal there last week had us licking our chops and swooning over the Belgian beer and food matches trotted out by Manager (and uber-beer-guy) Mike Shetler.

OLIVES’ Winter (Recession) Menu

ELV shall be supping tonight at Olives. Please alert the media.

When it comes to customers and profits these days, it is cold out there indeed in celebrity-restaurant-land (especially overpriced, overrated ones). But fifty bucks is too much luck to pass up….even at Olives.

p.s. The three course luncheon menu is $25. We shall partake of it on Sunday.

SHUSEKI

Shuseki appears to be under new management. The previous menu had about forty printed items. (We were particularly fond of the ramen, gyoza (pot stickers) and raw, wasabi octopus.) The new menu has 179 listed dishes — each with an accompanying photograph.
