Eating Las Vegas® can only spend so much time crying over spilled milk (in this case, the closing of Rosemary’s), so in honor of FORTE’s being featured on KLAS TV’s Dishing & Dining with Denise Valdez tomorrow, we at ELV thought we’d post a few more of our tasty snaps of another meal there….including those of a couple of wayward chefs who happened upon us one night as we were polishing off some Bulgarian beer and some patatas bravas…

No shaky leg, an overuse of the word “really” (really(?)), and equating bai top (whelk) with escargot (??) highlight (lowlight) today’s appearance* on Channel 8 with the always lovely Denise Valdez.

* Since we’re now doing these live on the noon news, when mistakes are made, it’s damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead! – with nary a moment to spare in the two minutes allotted.

Aside from our overuse of the word “great” and an unexpected bout of shaky leg syndrome, ELV was pleased with the shout out he and Denise Valdez gave one of our more able neighborhood eateries:

ELV note: This was broadcast over a week ago, but since ELV looks so fetching in his (white, as usual) Spring ensemble, we thought you might like to take a gander. (Btw: It pan-CHET-ta not pan-SET-ta. Four trips to Rome and we still can’t get it right.)
