This northern Indian concoction of spicy chickpeas (chana masala), cooling onions, soothing yogurt and a herbaceous-sweet-sour mint-tamarind chutney over potato-stuffed samosas is so good, we couldn’t stop chaating about it to our table-mates.

It’s so good, you’ll wonder how any region this good at the harmonious blending of spices can be so politically disputatious.

It’s so good, it could make any kid eat their vegetables.

It’s so good, it made ELV consider becoming a vegetarian….for a few seconds.

Yeah, it’s that good — as are the lamb stir fry and mahkaili mango curry (pictures 2 and 3).

Best of all, a big plate of it only costs $7.

Just thought you’d like to know.
