LOS MOLCAJETES’ Molcajetes
Just because we haven’t thrown any love Los Molecajetes’ (KNPR’s 2008 Ethnic Restaurant of the Year) way in a while, and because we just ate there last week and found these hot rocks just as savory and satisfying as ever — we thought we’d feature some tasty snaps to whet your appetite for some of our town’s best Mexican food.
We’re also doing it because we like how colorful this food is, and thinks it makes a nice visual at the top of our site.
And to remind you that one of these combination beauties, chock full of chicken, shrimp and beef, serves up to four people with a lot of that plus nopales, jalopy peppers, and a big hunk of cotija cheese.
Best of all, it only costs $19.
Just thought you’d like to know.

Restaurant reviews, quips, picks and pans-with some seriously salivating history-from the man who eats his way through Sin City every day.

YUMMY! I’ll have to try it some time. My dad will be back in town next week, so that may be a good enough excuse for us to drive all the way across town for Los Molcajetes… Well, that and the prices looks lower than the craptastic comida at Camacho’s. ;-)
