In the coming weeks we’ll be twittering(?) tweeting(?) from the major food events that are coming up — from DISH to Epicurean Affair to Vegas Uncork’d, as well as the 6-10 different restaurants we eat in every week.
And even though we don’t understand why it’s such a phenomenon, or who would be interested in one sentence descriptions of our many meals, or what the hell we’re doing acting like a 15 year old girl (furiously texting on our cellphone in public places), ELV and his staff will henceforth be providing this service(?) to our readers on a trial basis to see if there’s an interest or following out there.

I don’t get it either, tho’ the fact that you & I are of similar ages may be a factor. Stephen Colbert, when asked by Meredith Vieira if he twitters, replied, with great dignity: “I have twatted.”
ELV, at least in my technologically bereft world, is a trend-setter when it comes to linking all this electro-twitter-funk together with the world of food and dining. (It was ELV who encouraged me to get with the new ages and acquire a cell phone-which I did last year and still don’t know how to use it).
I’ll be joining the twitter fray at both the Epicurean Affair and Uncork’d, so I’ll get a first-hand look at how it all plays out. Looking forward to it!
I’m young, technologically inclined, and still don’t see the relevance of Twitter. Nonetheless, @bwdining will probably be following your tweets during the big events.
