Where Romance is Always in the Air
ELV note: The following article appears in this month’s issue of VEGAS magazine, and can be accessed in its original, on-line form by clicking here, or you can continue reading below. If you’re considering eating at ETR this Valentine’s Day, you’d be well-served to make your reservation immediately…which might already be too late. Keep in mind though, that the restaurant is also open for lunch, and might have tables available for a midday soirée a deux!

Sin City turns into the city of love every Valentine’s Day, when Vegas’s five-star dining establishments prepare special menus for couples from all over the country wanting une table pour deux. And no place hits all the right love notes better than Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
Happy Super Sunday!
On this cold (except in Las Vegas, of course) February day, ELV and his staff:
…would like to wish every one of his loyal readers a happy and super Super Sunday!

Great Takeout on Wake Up with the Wagners
Looking for some great last minute takeout for this Sunday — to munch on during that football game you might have heard something about?
Then you can’t beat one of Chris Herrin’s magnificent muffalettas (and macarons) from Bread & Butter…
…or some good ‘cue from Memphis Championship Barbecue…
…or a New York-sized pie from Anthony & Mario’s Broadway Pizzeria (within a stone’s throw of ELV’s humble abode)…
…or a sack of cheeseburgers and a Chili Mac from Steak ‘n Shake (In Sight It Must Be Right).
As usual, you’ll have to scroll down to the 36:18 mark to watch ELV stuffing his pie hole, and listen to him expound on our town’s best sandwich in the cheesy, meaty, spicy, overstuffed tones for which he is known!
Happy Chinese New Year!
Happy Year of the Dragon:

…from our staff:

ELV will be traveling today, and unpacking tomorrow and will resume his regular postings on Wednesday.
Top Chinese on Wake Up with the Wagners
ELV note: In honor of the Chinese New Year, which begins January 23rd, Kim Wagner and our eager beaver young assistant thought an overview of our top Chinese spots off the Strip was appropriate. ELV — his locks flowing and his Cantonese butchered — also thought you’d get a kick out of his traditional, Mandarin formal garb…thoughtfully provided to him by Karrie and Kevin Wu of Ping Pang Pong. As usual, you’ll have to scroll through the video to the 36:49 mark to watch and here the scratchy, hacking and hoarse voice for which we have been most recently known.
