This sizable plate of cold Szechuan noodles at Yun Nan Garden…

The dish looks harmless enough upon arrival, but begs to be stirred up so all of the chile oil, green onions, red and green chiles and cracked peppercorns are properly attached to each incendiary bite.

It costs $6.

Just thought you’d like to know.

    Well,
If this is true, thank you, and again thank you! In the 7 years that this couple have been living in L.V., never, and I mean it, never have we been able to find anything that is remotely worth being identified as our authentic NYC style Cold Sesame Noodles. Almost every NYC Szechuan take out joint throws in a free order with a takeout of 10 bucks or more. I always thought that they were some odd little value added thing that the “Empire Szechuan Garden” chain invented to make us bargain hunting non-Chinese clients happy. Any further thoughts you have on this theory, I’d love to hear. As well as any other confirmed sightings around the area… Will go and feast at Yun Nan Garden ASAP!
