Hot Hosts (and Hostess) Watch – Restaurant Charlie

Nicholas ain’t exactly ELV’s cup of meat, but according to The Food Gal and Julia Mandeville (The Official Fiance of Hugh Alexander Curtas — The Official Number Two Son Of ELV), he’s one cute and sexy dude.

And in the spirit of objectification for which he is known, ELV also features Carrie (a looker in her own right) and Ryan (yet another sexy dude — we’re told), all of whom manage and grace the front of the house at Restaurant Charlie.

  1. Nicholas is a cute and good start. (Ryan looks too much like a close friend of my youngest son … that’s too weird in so many ways…) You need to stay in touch with your inner Food Gal and have more of these hot hosts on your site. In fact, you should have nothing but hot hosts to make up for the ungodly number of hot hostesses that you’ve presented to us.

    Love ya John!! LOL

  2. Had a wonderful meal with my father at this fine establishment on Friday night. I have a question for you John, in all the times you eat at these places, how often do you have the same server in two different restaurants? We had dined with our server at rm just over a year ago. Is this common for you or are you so apathetic toward the service (not the servers) that you don’t notice? I know that quetion is a trap implying that if you don’t notice the same server in a different restaurant that it is your apathy not the lack of it happening to you, but I like it that way so I will leave it.

  3. Running into the same waitrons and front of the house folks happens with more regularity than you think. They often recognize me before I make the connection, but it’s a short stroke between “that waiter looks familiar” to “I used to wait on you at: (Michael Mina, RM, ALEx…).”

And it’s amazing how often managers turn up in different restaurants. I kid them that they have the staying power of jazz musicians…since I never see them in the same place twice.

I knew my anonymity on The Strip (in the better restaurants anyway), was pretty much shot when I checked out the Wynn’s restaurants on opening day and EVERY manager and waiter I encountered referred to me by name without me introducing myself

  4. Sounds like Henry is a bitter ex-Trotter employee who was terminated by Nicholas Rimedio… it is pathetic that they post slander on this blog. Both gentlemen in reference are upstanding and good people, and Restaurant Charlie is still open. Does “Henry” even have a job?
