Help out by dining out during Restaurant Week 2009! Participating restaurants will offer a special three-course menu at just $20.09, $30.09 and/or at $50.09 per person. A portion of the price will assist Las Vegas-based Three Square, a non-profit organization created to end hunger in Southern Nevada. Tacos & Tequila at Luxor Presents the “Chef Rooster Fighting Tournament” in Support of Three Square

On Wednesday, September 2, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., come cheer on some of Las Vegas’ best chefs as they help stomp out hunger in Southern Nevada by dressing in rooster suits, strapping on over-sized chicken feet and stomping out balloons tied to the ankles of their competition. Featured bouts will include executive chefs from the city’s top restaurants including Rick Moonen from Bravo’s Top Chef Masters and The Food Network’s Chefs vs. City champ Stephen Hopcraft of SEABLUE. The winner of each bout will compete in a final competition for bragging rights and a margarita party for their co-workers!
