En Sushi is not in the same league as Raku when it comes to robatayaki cooking, and the sushi won’t make anyone forget Nobu, Hachi or Sen of Japan, but for a neighborhood place located in the middle of nowhere (i.e. the far ends of the Anthem earth), the food is mighty fine indeed.
Eating New York (2009)
Why do we heart NYC so much? Is it the energy we get from walking the streets? The true twenty-four hour nature of the city? Its culture, arts and museums? The throbbing heartbeat of a place pulsating with vitality no other city can touch? Or is it the world city you see on the streets — a cross-cultural stew of sites, sounds and smells that is a constant source of wonderment and allows no room for boredom?
Sure it’s all that, but mainly we love it because the food is so fucking good.

A quick post of a few snaps from last weeks uber-wine event at the Paris Hotel + a few snaps of the sorry burgers at Le Burger Brasserie (located in the hallway that connects Paris and Bally’s) — where we repaired to cool off off our buzz with (what we thought would be) some top-shelf protein.
Boy, were we mistaken.
