This Partridge Never Found Her Pear Tree

…but she did find her way into Roberto Donna’s wood-fired oven at Al Dente in Washington D. C. — that fed me some of the best Italian food I’ve had in some time.

The only thing missing was two turtle doves.

Yes, we’re still in D.C., eating extraordinary Italian food from uber-chef Roberto Donna at his Al Dente ristorante near American U. 

As you can see, Lilian Hazel Curtas is really enjoying herself….as is her grandfather.
