Sorry for being a little light on the posts lately food fans, but we at ELV have been a little busy.
And depressed.
“Why are you so depressed ELV?” is probably what you’re asking yourself right now.
The answer is: We’re depressed because we can’t have Pierre Gagnaire’s (and Pascal Sanchez’s) baby greens salad with dried cranberries and shaved foie gras everyday.
“But ELV,” you’re probably saying to yourself right now, “how in the world do they shave foie gras into ribbon-thin shards of fatty deliciousness in order to shower them over a salad?”
To which ELV can only reply: We haven’t the foggiest, but think it is the best use of foie since someone invented the terrine.
