A quick post of a few snaps from last weeks uber-wine event at the Paris Hotel + a few snaps of the sorry burgers at Le Burger Brasserie (located in the hallway that connects Paris and Bally’s) — where we repaired to cool off off our buzz with (what we thought would be) some top-shelf protein.

THAI ME UP THAI ME DOWN

The reasons people like Thai food is because it’s herbal, healthy, spicy, approachable, and reasonably priced. My other pet theories are because it does that sweet/hot thing so well, and because you eat it with a knife and fork.

Regardless of why it’s so popular, Thai restaurants have been popping up all over town, and sweating your way through a meal has never been so much fun.

CARLUCCIO’S TIVOLI GARDENS

“They sure get a lot of mileage out of their veal” was all ELV could think to himself as he bit through the paper thin meat whilst trying to process the Kafkaesque conversations swirling about him as he shoveled it down in record speed. The fact that he was trying to enjoy cooked food amidst the overpowering smell of disinfectant that permeated the place, only added to his misery.
