Bon Breads’ New Digs

The greatest thing about the best bread in town is that it’s free.

Yup, doesn’t cost you a dime, whether you’re in Le Cirque, Mon Ami Gabi, Twist, Parma, any restaurant in the Luxor, MGM, Bellagio or any one of a number of eateries and hotels around the valley.

How cool is that?

ELV has never tried walking into, let’s say, Michael Mina, and just asking for a bread basket, but he supposes you could…and then they would charge you for it….but as long as you’re willing to pay the freight for something to eat, a variety of baked goods will magically appear on your table, beseeching, nay begging you to forgo the old admonition not to “fill up on bread.”

Because all of those tasty loaves and rolls have not gone unnoticed by our town’s best restaurateurs, it has been necessary for owners Carlos and Kathia Pereira to move into bigger, fancier and sparkling new digs to keep up with the demand. And, as you can see, they were kind enough to let us loaf around the joint for awhile:

That was a crumby joke, we know, but the yeast you could do is laugh for the dough we make around here.

If that didn’t get a rise out of you, our staff suggests you just roll with these punches until you knead a slice of something funnier.

In the meantime, search out and find that garlic-Parmesan roll at the top of the page. If restaurant hopping ain’t your thing, you can find them at the Bon Breads store at the Town Square Mall. Yes, they will charge you for them, but every bite is worth every penny.
