The Way We Were…

ELV note: We didn’t arrive in this humble burg until January, 1981, but being a fan of all things nostalgic (especially when it comes to mid-century Las Vegas), we couldn’t resist these giant photos now on display in the food court at the Boulevard Mall. They serve as a reminder of our simpler past, but also of a history that Las Vegas should embrace — instead of imploding it for whatever grandiose corporate scheme tickles the fancy of some carpetbagging robber-baron.
