The Maccioni Family, Ivo Angelov, and the Bellagio are happy to announce that Gregory Pugin has taken the kitchen reins at Le Cirque.
Pugin comes to Le Cirque from L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Paris (France, not Idaho) and promises to be the best thing to hit the restaurant since crème brûlée.
And I shall dine there next time I am in town…..
Two nights ago, I called Le Cirque for a reservation in July just because of Chef Pugin. He also was previously at Veritas in NYC where he was one of the five finalists for a 2010 James Beard Award in the Rising Star Chef category.
WELCOME Chef Gregory!!!! See you on Tuesday, July 26th!!!!
Good news! As if I need one, this is another great reason to return to Las Vegas. Now if I can only find the time!
I had the best Steak Tartare I ever ate at Le Cirque last week.
