  1. I wouldn’t even go to Origin India. I was impressed by all the photos they put it on web…how deceiving, not even close to anything like they show. This is the worst Indian cuisine in Las Vegas. Sometimes its undercooked or burnt and yes, its raw at times. Basmati rice in our meal wasn’t even cooked. AWFUL

  2. Hey “Ravi” – why don’t you find something else to do with your spare time? Based on your posts, it’s clear you have a personal issue with Origin India and trying to bring them down on this website each time they are mentioned is how you make yourself feel better. You clearly got fired. Get over it.

Oh…and the food is absolutely amazing. Here is a link to the dinner they did at the James Beard Foundation showing the photos of the food that was served if anyone out there doubts how good this place is.

  3. i’m one of the chef from one the most luxurious property at the city centre & i’ve eaten there on couple of occasions with my HOD’s & few key people from the corporate office whilst we were at the pre-opening phase, i would say each time the food has been OUTSTANDING.

i was one of them to attend the dinner at the james beard house in New York & i must say that the food was truly a Michlean star.

well people say seeing is believing i would say for food, “EATING IS BELIEVING”.

If at some point of time people feel that the food is AWFUL, then you should give the chef a chance to tailor make a menu. i believe Chef like Kuldeep would definately not only create a memorable experience with his cuisine but will also BUY you a dinner.

I guess people should give feedback to the chef in person should there be an issue with the food, it should only be posted on net if it is not resolved.

i will always go & recommend to friends & colleague to dine at Origin India .

Definately the best Indian food in Las Vegas

    vivek

  4. Paying money to channels and media won’t make the food taste any better.
Have to bring taste in the food.

  5. all the posts here from from owners. Its crap restaurant which only bosts of ambience and no quality food.its totally waste of money.

  6. Those long reviews are totally by the owner. food and service are terrible. They are always paying for their reviews and decorating the food.

  7. I am brand-new to blogging and actually enjoyed your website. I am going to bookmark your blog and keep checking you out. Thanks for sharing your site.

  8. Origin Pakistan (the owner is from Pakistan.) I did try the food here. It is decent food but it is not what it is made out to be with very impressive names like James Beard, Food Channel etc. Ultimately, it is the word-of-mouth that sustains a restaurant. Few items like the appetizers are good here. Just like beuty-is in the eyes of the beholder–taste is in the tongue of the betaster! There is nothing like a best Indian restaurant, since, each restaurant has it’s own cooking style and regional cuisine. These are the top one or two items in few of the restaurants that I have visited and my tastebuds took mental notes.

South Indian, Masala Dosa: India Palace at Riviera Casino Food Court.
Kabob (Chicken,Lamb,Fish): Gaylord India at Rio Hotel and Casino
Chicken Karahi with Tandoori Roti: India Oven on Paradise
Vegetarian & Vegan: India Masala at Riviera Casino Food Court
Goan Fish Curry & Tandoori Chicken: Namaste at the Commercial Center
Buffet: India Palace on Twain & Paradise
Tomato Soup, Lentil Soup & Nepalese Momosa! Himalayan on East Flamingo and so on an so forth….to be continued.
