"... Very few Italian restaurants serve food this way any more ... " I am not clear why this matters, is it enjoyable?

Ate there with the wify...we thought it was fine, and the server was really nice. The sweet chili and bacon prawns were tasty. They need to upgrade on the bread at the table however (kinda blah), but its nice that you get a little salad with your dish. When did ala carte become the norm anyway??

fyi...we tried going to the other "new location" on Grand Canyon/Trop because it was closer to the house, but the menu has not been switched over yet. So unless you want to eat bar food, go to the one on Southern Highlands.

"The food is unchallenging to a fault and is filled with cliché after cliché lifted straight from the Macaroni Grill/Maggiano’s playbook." - John, are you sure you weren't eating at Ferraro's? OTS also sounds really boring!! I don't plan on returning to either one, not like they need my business anyways. I'd rather try Waffle Cafe; sounds original and really tasty.

You were pretty rough on the joint this week, Mr. ELV. Yikes! But then again, I guess they deserve it. The food isn't all that ambitious, I'll admit. But when it comes to serving up classic Italian-American comfort food, this place is the tops.
