Looking forward to checking out more of the art there in City Center. When I was last there, Vdara had just opened, along with Crystals. But Aria was not opened. I DID get to see the giant canoe sculpture, (neat piece. Liked it a lot) and a few other random pieces at Vdara itself. I’ll be in Las Vegas in May for Uncork’d. I thought perhaps some electrical wire had come loose and needed to be repaired. I turned and happened to see a little sign attached to a column which notified me that the loose wires I had been looking at was actually art. It supposedly represented "the human body's transformation" or something to that effect. Uhhh, ok. A moment later as I walked down the hallway I passed a vase which looked like any old vase you can pick up at Bed Bath and Beyond for about 40 bucks. Turns out it also was some sort of "art" and is worth a whole lot more than 40 bucks. I guess I just have an eye for these things.
