Glad someone got to taste the bronze catfish, that is what we ordered, got fried. ordered a po boy with no tomatoes or mayo, but that is what we got.
We would have complained but food was dropped off..after a 35 minute wait, waitress never returned. No water refills. Finally stopped a waitress had to ask for the bread pudding, wish she had not stopped, no flavor, very little sauce. Lola did visit our table, stated the poboy had tomatoes and mayo... she said"Sorry about that" I would rather fly to Orleans.

I am very happy I stumbled upon this review because my family loves New Orleans-style food. We made the trip downtown to this restaurant today and it was pretty damn awesome. Their bronzed catfish is the best catfish I have ever had in my life! Thanks for the tip!

just to let you know the Zydeco festival is in Plaisance, right outside of Opelousas.

Yeah, you right ELV,
but the good Lord did take Beau Jacque far too young.

Saw him at the Rock-n-Bowl in Metarie in 1999 on my way back from the Oppelousas Zydeco Festival and a bar-b-q at Thomas "Big Hat" Fields house in Church Point

Man, Ill tell ya, that guy could rock.
