can truffle oil, along with the term “celebrity chef” for those that truly aren’t- just go away already?

I'll third that! I'm so sick and tired of "celebrity chef" venues that are all "celebrity" and no chef. I'll take genuinely good food any day over some overrated outlet of a "Food Network god/goddess".

Same goes for truffle oil. That's such a ridiculous gimmick, it makes we want to LOL so hard!

Anyway, I'll need to save up my pennies to either buy a bottle of Gaja and/or taste for myself how it goes with Chef Guia's cuisine at Country Club Grill.

That makes perfect sense doesn't it? Truffle oil--a fake, off-putting, obnoxious goop with a metallic taste that is an over-priced imitation of a traditional work of substance--akin to the moniker "Celebrity Chef of no substance who has a "talk show," Ms. Rachel Ray!

My God--fine wine, delicious food, (sans the truffle oil), and an Italian Goddess with seductive blue eyes. ELV has all the fun.
