This review clearly reflects the two restaurants. I have tried both and have to Namaste certainly win over with authentic Indian chicken and lamb korma and traditional great appetizers. I would not like to eat Origin's oil dripping potli Samosas and puneer filled mushroom. Well as long as I am spending less for a great meal, do I care?

Ken-

Will do. If I can convince the companion to go along with me, I'll also try Origin this weekend. And if this this weekend, I may go on my own the following weekend. I've heard enough opposing viewpoints to keep an open mind on it.

I've dined at Origin India about five or six times now and have had great meals. Sure, I know the owners and chef and they know me, but the food I've had has been delicious examples of Indian food with a few twists and tweaks to make it more modern and refined in nature.

Just check it out for yourselves - and you be the judge.

OK, then. Namaste it is. I'll be at Commercial Center anyway for the NCOD festival on Saturday, so I might as well try this place. I hope they're ready for some extra queer business this weekend. :-p
